WAREHOUSE OPERATOR

JOB TYPE: Full-time (38 hours / week)
AWARD TYPE: Upon request
LOCATION: Hampton Event Hire, Unit 2, 76-78 Industry Drive, Tweed Heads South NSW 2486

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule
  • Receive and process warehouse stock products
  • Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
  • Keep a clean and safe working environments
  • Optimise space utilisation
  • Report any discrepancies
  • Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and co-workers
  • Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment
  • Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
  • Complete deliveries by truck when required
  • Organise shelving for stock arrival
  • Organise warehouse space
  • Assist loading and unloading trucks
  • Checking of inventory
  • Sort and place inventory on shelving or in designated space
  • Maintain inventory
  • Stock take, keep accurate stock records
  • Cary out stock counts as and when required
  • Handle any hazardous material in a safe and appropriate manner
  • Keep areas of work clean and tidy to ensure operational efficiency
  • Make recommendations to aid efficiency and add value
  • Check for damaged or missing items
  • Pick and pack orders for dispatch
  • Prepare parcels for mailing/courier
  • Basic administration
  • Check products to ensure quality
  • Choose appropriate packing materials
  • Warehouse operations
  • Maintain inventory – cleaning / repairs / painting
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  •  Building of new inventory

DELIVERY DRIVERs

JOB TYPE: Casual

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES AS DELIVERY DRIVER:
• Operating delivery vehicle to transport a wide variety of items to different locations
• Assisting in preparation and loading of orders into delivery vehicle
• Ensuring goods are stowed and securely covered to prevent loss and damage
• Unloading goods into the drop-off location, unpacking & setting up if necessary
• Checking inventory items for damage upon pick-up
• Following a route and time schedule
• Upholding general maintenance and cleanliness of delivery vehicle
• Following safety standards at all time
• Represent Hampton Event Hire in a professional and courteous manner
• Be efficient
• Communicate any notes to client and or colleagues
• Fill truck with fuel
• Carry out policies passed down by managers

SALES ASSISTANT

JOB TYPE: Part-time (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday - 9.00am - 5.30pm)
AWARD TYPE: Upon Request

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Wedding and event sales
  • Responding to enquiries through email, phone
  • Invoicing and quoting
  • Documenting of correspondents
  • Working in CRM, regular updates
  • Follow sales procedures documented by Hampton Event Hire
  • Client consultations via phone, emails, showroom meetings
  • Creating vision boards
  • Setting and attending showroom meetings
  • Follow up quotes and sales
  • Knowledge of Hampton Event Hire, inventory and services
  • Taking payments
  • Communication with clients through Pure Chat
  • Updating email templates
  • Communicate delivery details and invoice details to Office Administrator
  • General administration: archive emails and folders, keeping inbox neat and organized
  • Tidy and organized workspace
  • Check over orders
  • Liaise with Logistics Manager regarding new inventory for upcoming orders
  • Showroom organization
  • Generating wedding and corporate leads
  • Go the extra mile to drive sales
  • Cross sell products
  • Assess customer needs and provide assistance in suitable products
  • Team up with co-workers to ensure proper customer care
  • Keep on top of emails
  • Get back to clients within the specified time frame
